Park Information and Details
Riverbend on the Frio has some of the best Frio River access in the area and is in the area for one of the longest Total Solar Eclipse viewing times on April 8, 2024. This beautiful RV park features 39 RV spaces with 30 and 50 amp electrical and water hook-ups. 11 of these RV sites have sewer. On this property there are also 6 person cabins, 4 person and 8 person motels. Primitive Tent sites are also offered for this event. Wi-Fi is provided free of charge, however, with the amount of people anticipated to attend the eclipse, we cannot guarantee Wi-Fi service.

Riverbend on the Frio Accommodation Information
Reservations for April 6, 2024 –April 9, 2024 will become available January 9, 2023
Book your 2024 Solar Eclipse reservation soon! A three-night (3) minimum is required and
begins on Saturday, April 6, 2024, through Tuesday, April 9, 2024, with departure on Tuesday,
April 9th. While all guests may arrive on Saturday, April 6, it is not a requirement and guests
may arrive on any day during the three-day period. There will be no refunds for any reason,
including no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures regardless of circumstance. There are no
exceptions to this policy including illness, family emergencies, or inclement weather.
Reservations are not transferable to any dates before or after the eclipse event. Please email
[email protected], beginning January 9, 2023 to book a stay for the 2024 Solar Eclipse.
RV Sites & Tent Sites
$350.00 per night for a total of $1050.00, per site for 3 nights.
Indoor Unit Reservations
$600.00 per night for a total of $1800.00 for 3 nights, per 4-person Small Motel.
$800.00 per night for a total of $2400.00 for 3 nights, per 6-person Cabin.
$900.00 per night for a total of $2700.00 for 3 nights, per 8-person Deluxe Motel.
Primitive Hike-In Tent Reservations
$150.00 per night for a total of $450.00 for 3 nights, per Primitive Tent Site.
Day Visitor Passes: $20 per person. Able to visit April, 8, 2024 9:00am- 4:30pm

Additional Vehicles for 2024 Total Solar Eclipse
Two vehicles are included per reservation. Additional vehicle passes anytime during the
dates of April 6, 2024, to April 9, 2024 are strongly discouraged. If an additional vehicle is
required, you will need to purchase an additional parking space. Additional parking spaces
will be available in limited quantities and will be available for sale at time of booking
through March 6, 2024, by emailing [email protected]. We will no longer sell
additional vehicle passes after March 6, 2024. Additional vehicle passes are not available
for those without reservations. $100.00 per night, per additional vehicle, to park in a
designated overflow parking area (limited quantities available). Parking is available for
regular sized vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and motorcycles. The parking permit is
not available for RVs, oversized vehicles, or vehicles with trailers.
Additional Tent in Site for 2024 Total Solar Eclipse
One tent is allowed to be added to any RV/ Cabin Reservation. It is $50 per day to add a
tent to a site with an RV in the site. A rented site with an RV and Tent in the site include 6
people in the rate. There is a maximum of 8 people per RV/Tent site. Any additional
persons are $20 per day
2024 Solar Eclipse Rules
1. All occupants must register with Riverbend on the Frio Front Office.
2. All fees are due at time of booking.
3. Only additional permitted vehicles with an overflow parking permit will be allowed in designated parking areas overnight.
4. Only RV and Tent Camping permitted vehicles with an appropriate parking permit will be allowed in designated RV and Primitive Tent Camping areas.
5. Check-in time is any time after 10:00 a.m. & check-out time is no later 12:00 p.m. Check with the office if you need a late check out. While all guests may arrive on Saturday, April 6, it is not a requirement and guests may arrive on any day during the three-day period.
6. Occupy only the space assigned to you at check-in.
7. ADDITIONAL DATES. There is no prorating of fees. Any additional nights reserved outside of the eclipse dates will be separate reservations at the regular daily rate and you may begin booking separate dates NOW!
8. VEHICLES. A maximum of 2 vehicles are allowed for each reservation. All vehicles must have a current registration. Each additional vehicle must purchase an overflow parking permit while supplies last at $100 per night.
9. PETS. All pets must have good temperament and be kept on a hand-held leash at all times when outside. Pets cannot be left unattended. Pet waste must be picked up immediately and disposed of properly. Pets are not allowed in indoor units or bathhouse. When a pet owner is observed violating the above rules, a warning will be issued. If observed a second time, the owner will be required to leave the park with no refund.
10. QUIET HOURS are 10 P.M. until 8 A.M. Please be considerate of others.
11. SPEED LIMIT is 5 MPH throughout the park.
12. CAMPFIRES. Fires are not permitted from April 6, 2024, 5:00pm through April 8, 2024 until 5:00pm.
13. WATER USAGE. No washing of vehicles. Inflatable pools, hot tubs, or any other container holding larger than a bucket of water are not permitted.
14. Campsites must be kept clean and tidy at all times.
15. No soliciting, peddling, loitering, trespassing or trading allowed in the park. Sale of drugs and alcohol is not permitted on the premises. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly. 16. SMOKING. No smoking in any park buildings or facilities. Please be considerate of others when smoking outside and smoke 50 feet away from others.
17. Help maintain a clean and tidy park by not littering. Please dispose of trash in the proper manner.
18. Do not put food outside for wild animals.
19. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the supervision and conduct of their children at all times.
20. Please respect guests’ privacy by not walking through occupied sites.
21. Every space will be checked periodically by management, for compliance with these rules.
22. Park rules and policies are subject to change at any time.
23. Any guest in violation of the rules may be asked to vacate the park, without refund.
LIABILITY: Riverbend on the Frio is not be responsible for loss or damage to camping tenant’s property due to theft, vandalism, fire, any other casualty, wild animals, or acts of God or nature. The camping tenants expressly assume all risk of such loss or damage and must carry their own insurance.
INDEMNIFICATION: Camping tenants indemnify and hold harmless Riverbend on the Frio and staff of Riverbend on the Frio from all claims, liability, and expenses, including but not limited to attorney and other professional fees, for injury to person, loss of life, or damage to property arising out of tenant’s exercise of his rights hereunder, except as may be caused by the gross negligence or intentional acts of Riverbend on the Frio or staff of Riverbend on the Frio.
